Weekly editor Ross Ramsey wanted to outdo the online news
clipping service of his nearest competitor, but maintain the
ease with which he can update his website and restrict access
to paid subscribers with passwords. I wrote and modified existing
Perl scripts that drove the backend of the site to make the
functionality possible. In conjunction with clipping service,
